The Turtles of Turtle Fur have a very strong, uniting passion: The great outdoors. Our playground of Vermont is a constant vista of breathtaking landscapes with endless miles of trails to hike, paths to bike, mountains to ski and lakes to swim. Needless to say, our weekends are full of outdoor recreation before they even begin.

Our passion for the outdoors, combined with the National Park Service's August 2016 Centennial celebration  lead us toward causes that help to secure the future of these beautiful places. We deeply cherish and understand the value of these areas that are reserved for the public. These precious spaces are carved out just for our use, and serve as a means to nurture the exploration of countless outdoor enthusiasts to discover (and enjoy) all that nature has to offer.

The Collection That Gives Back: 100% Proceeds Donated To Conserving Our National Parks

To do our part we partnered up with the National Parks Conservation Association, and through them, were able to utilize the beautiful artwork of the Creative Action Network's See America Project. After going through the countless beautiful pieces of places around the country, we were able to find beautiful designs for our favorite product: The Totally Tubular

We are proud to introduce to everyone our National Parks Collection Totally Tubulars of which 100% of the proceeds are donated to the National Parks Conservation Association!

The New Turtle Fur National Parks Collection Proceeds Donated to NPCA

From the Florida Keys National Park, to Zion National Park in Utah and on to the Grand Canyon National Park, we have the lay of the land. Everywhere that you love is now a place you can wear and display with pride.

About The Sun Shell™ Totally Tubular™

The Totally Tubular is a staple item in every outdoor pack: From hikers to mountain bikers, whether fishing, paddling or running, it keeps everyone outside covered from sun, wind spray and dirt. We love to wear the Totally Tubular as a neck gaiter, but it's kept on hand for when the outdoors gets "in your face" and pulled up over our noses to keep wearers outside, longer.

Turtle Fur National Parks Collection Buff Style Face Mask

Our Sun Shell™ fabric is the lighter cousin of our Comfort Shell™ - keeping you on the move without weighing you down, using an ultra -lightweight, sweat-wicking composition with UPF 50+ coverage so sun burn stays but a distant memory.

The Totally Tubular can be worn as a neck, a face mask, a headband, a beanie (really!) a helmet liner and more. It's versatility is at the core of where art & function meet. We're STILL learning about new ways people use the Totally Tubular in their adventures to this day!

The National Parks Conservation Association and Turtle Fur

Turtle Fur partnered with the The National Park Conservation Association (NCPA) for this project. Founded in 1919, the organization was created to be the independent, nonpartisan voice working to strengthen and protect America's favorite places.

The NCPA has more than a million members and supporters and serves as the voice of America's national parks. They work to protect and preserve our nation's most iconic and inspirational places for present and future generations. To quote them directly:

"We celebrate the parks — and work tirelessly to defend them — whether on the ground, in the courtroom or on Capitol Hill."

From their national headquarters in Washington, D.C., with 25 regional and field offices around the country, the NCPA calls upon their many program and policy experts, committed volunteers, staff lobbyists, community organizers and communications specialists to inform and inspire the public as well as to influence decision makers to ensure that our national parks are well protected.
