Turtle Terminology

  • Balaclava

    Fabric headgear often worn under a helmet that cover the whole head and neck, exposing only the eyes and mouth.

  • Bamboo

    Natural Performance: A fabric made from bamboo that is soft, breathable, wicks moisture off the skin and dries quickly.

  • Battery Heated

    “D” Cell battery pouch connected to socks or gloves that won’t shock, even when wet. The battery provides 6-8 hours of warmth and snaps on/off for easy operation.

  • Black Turtle Collection

  • Chelonia 150®

    Engineered Performance: Comfort Shell is a technical wicking fabric that also feels great next to the skin. The hollow core fibers trap air, providing both insulation for warmth and moisture control for drying and cooling.

    Comfort Shell carries a certified Sun Protection rating of UPF 50+, using the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) - Test Method 183, testing standards.

    Fleece cut, reversed, and sewn around the inside of the headwear.

  • Maskot
