Megan Liljedahl

Megan Liljedahl

As a Vermont native, Megan has loved being on the mountains since a young age. When she’s not chasing her two boys down the slopes at Stowe or mountain biking with the family, odds are she’s on another adventure (or blogging about one).

Where is your hometown?

Middlebury, VT

Where do you currently reside?

Stowe, VT

What are your favorite ways to spend time outside?

I love Mountain Biking, Hiking, and Skiing with my family. I enjoy Running and Skinning with friends.

What is your most beloved piece of Turtle Fur gear?

Turtle Fur Tubes are the best!! I had one when I was a little girl and still love them today. I tend to be super cold so I need all the warmth I can get on the slopes.

What Turtle Fur product comes with you on every adventure, and why?

The Turtle Fur Headbands are super versatile so they come with me on outdoor adventures. I love this product for skinning up Mt. Mansfield and running in the winter.

What is your most cherished outdoor memory?

My family has a tradition of skiing together the morning of Christmas Eve. We get out there early to ski and then head in the ski lodge for hot cocoa and a late breakfast. This is something I will always cherish.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?

It's hard to pick just one place. The next spot on our bucket list is a trip back to Santorini, Greece. My husband and I went for our three-year anniversary and have been dying to go back ever since.

What is your day job?

I lead Strategic Coffee Partnerships for Keurig Dr Pepper

What personal accomplishment are you most proud of?

Skinning to the top of Mt. Mansfield for the first time after a major knee injury and yearlong recovery.

Two truths and a lie:

I got lost in the Grand Canyon when I was 5yrs old

I played Division 3 Lacrosse in College

I started downhill skiing when I was 3
