Shelby & Jason
Meet AmbassaTur Power Couple, Shelby and Jason. They run Fresh World Press, specializing in digital marketing. When not whipping up blogs or engaging on social media, this power couple can be found road tripping, camping, and soaking up as much time in the great outdoors as they possibly can.

Where do you currently reside
What are your favorite ways to spend time outside?
Our favorite ways to spend time outside include (but are definitely not limited to): snowboarding, skiing, running, cycling, stand up paddle boarding, camping, occasionally skateboarding, enjoying a Modelo with lime on the beach with our cat Todd.
What is your most beloved piece of Turtle Fur gear?
Shelby: The Comfort Shell Totally Tubular is the bomb dot com. It is my go-to accessory on the slopes, on a cold run or bike ride, when out on the water on a windy day, or even when driving around the desert and trying to avoid getting dust in your teeth! It is so versatile, comes in amazing prints, and instantly gives any outfit style points.
Jason: Huge fan of the Picture This Trucker, Wildlife in Buffalo Being!!! It is my go-to travel hat. I mean, can you get a more perfect hat for roaming around Yellowstone National Park? Great fit and cool graphic.
What Turtle Fur product comes with you on every adventure, and why?
When we lived in VT we never left the house without a beanie! Now in sunny Ventura, CA, our truckers are our #1 Turtle Fur accessory. Don’t worry though, those beanies still get their time to shine! When camping in the desert the temps drop drastically overnight. We never leave for an adventure without a beanie stashed away. The Explorer Cuffed Beanie is definitely one of our faves!
What is your most cherished outdoor memory?
In June 2018 we embarked on an epic 3-month road trip starting in VT and zig-zagging our way to CA. We stayed in 16 states, 39 different campgrounds, and only 6 motels. There are so many absurdly awesome cherished memories from this adventure. Many of which involve our cat doing gross things in the tent or sneaking him into weird places including rural libraries… I’ll spare you those stories! Our most cherished memory happened in Virginia while camping at Rocky Knob State Park off of the insanely gorgeous Blue Ridge Parkway. The campground was like a magical fairy wonderland. A quiet, private, wooded environment, decorated with elegant neon green ferns. As we sat around our campfire, soaking in the night, Jason kept saying, “It’s going to be a great day tomorrow!” That morning he proposed. :)
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?
If we could travel anywhere in the world it would be any place where we can only hear the sounds of nature. Ultimately, as long as we’re seeing and learning about new places we’re happy!
What is your day job?
What personal accomplishment are you most proud of?
Moving across the country while starting our own business is definitely high on the list! Shelby is also stoked on placing second in the Jay Peak 50K and will be running her first 50-miler this fall (2019). Jason has completed 7 full Iron Men and taught himself to snowboard like a boss as an adult.
Two truths and a lie:
Spontaneously got married in Las Vegas.
Wrote a book about flatulence.
Taught our cat to retrieve paper balls.
Where should people go if they want to follow along on your adventures?
