Turtle Fur Seeks an E-Commerce Data Management Coordinator

We need another turtle! Our new tortoise will manage data related to our Webstore operations using various marketplace platforms. Our turtles are good listeners and communicators who can multi-task and manage their time wisely. We want someone who is sharp, self-motivated and has a strong work ethic and a desire to grow. Expertise in Excel and Internet use essential. Basic photo editing software knowledge would give you an edge.

Turtle Fur Seeks Director of Product Development

Responsibilities:
1. Expand brand to 4-seasons.
2. Design salable, profitable product.
3. Manage design and art department.
4. Manage multi-season/market product line development.
5. Manage branding, collaterals, imagery, and catalogs.
6. Achieve goal of 50% of sales in three years to be derived from new product.
7. Collaborate product directions in conjunction with sales team.
8. Increase sales and improve margins.
9. Stay abreast of current trends; share customer and market perspectives on a regular basis.
10. Demonstrate strong leadership and excel at interpersonal communication with all levels of the organization.
11. Build constructive and effective relationships with peers, vendors, and industry partners.
12. Collaborate with manufacturing on vendor re-source, calendar, and costing strategies to facilitate production planning.
13. Existing sourcing relationships a plus.
14. Sales analytics.
15. Oversee product quality, fit, and construction.
16. Foster a team environment with strong free flowing communication.
17. System and computer literate.
18. Some travel: trade shows, Asia, the world.
19. Report to Chief Turtle.

Independent Snow & Outdoor Reps

The Turtle Fur Group, the iconic snowsports and outdoor headwear and accessory company doing business under the brands Turtle Fur, FU-R Headwear, and Vermont Originals, is seeking new RepTurtles for the Snow and Outdoor Markets in the following territories:

* Midwest (MO,IA,NE,KS)

As an ambassador for the Turtle Fur Group, your first and foremost responsibility will be to represent the Turtle Fur Group with the integrity and professionalism we are known for worldwide and to build dramatically upon our 30+ years of success.

The Turtle Fur Group’s 3-year goal is to evolve into 4-season brands. In June 2013, to compliment our Fall-Winter collections, Turtle Fur will be introducing an all new Turtle Fur Spring-Summer Fish & Outdoor Collection based upon our tremendously successful Comfort Shell ™ line. This collection will expand over the next few years into a full technical, lifestyle and fashion headwear line catering to the outdoor market.

The ideal candidate is a relentless sales professional who approaches every appointment with excitement about the brands, the product, and with a well-thought-out game plan for that customer. This person (or group) loves what they do, loves to visit dealers in their stores, understands the market and is excited with new product, markets and opening new doors.


Qualifications:
- Currently calls on Snowsports and Outdoor dealers.
- Travels the territory extensively.
- Attends regional rep shows for both snowsports, outdoor, and buying groups.
- Attends national trade shows including SIA and winter and Summer OR.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Ability to make (Women’s, Men’s and Kids) recommendations and write orders for customers as needed.
- Stays connected to accounts and targets throughout the year.
- Knows the account base in the territory while constantly looking for new opportunities.


Expectations:
- Actively sell and service new and existing accounts.
- Double the sales in territory within two years with existing dealers and new.
- Maintain consistent communication with both sales management and customer service throughout the year on a very timely basis.
- Continually invest in your business.
- Provide feedback and insight from the field to sales management and product development.
- Submit seasonal sales plan and review with Sales Management.
- Attend sales meetings.
- Meet deadlines.

This year, we are merging the 20 year history of Nordic Gear in the hunting market with the brand strength and technical product of the Turtle Fur brand by creating our new Turtle Fur Fish & Game collection. The Spring-Summer Fish & Outdoor collection and our Fall-Winter Fish & Game collection are based upon our tremendously successful Comfort Shell ™ line. These collections will expand over the next few years into a full technical, lifestyle and fashion headwear line catering to the fishing and hunting markets.
