    Hoping For

    This hat is not what I was hoping for. I have a Turtle Fur from about 8 years ago that I absolutely love!!! I can’t find the hat anywhere. This looked very similar but not it.

    I guess the one I have had for years is not made anymore. It’s thicker and loftier with a rolled edge and nowhere near as tight fitting as the new one I just bought. The new one is okay but I don’t like how it feels. Maybe it will stretch out over time.

    Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry Original Turtle Fur The Hat is not the style you were looking for. The photos appear to show a tort style beanie, and The Hat is more of a watch cap style.

    Such a warm hat!

    I wore The Hat on my trek up Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa earlier this month. It fit great and was toasty warm against the strong winds we encountered. Thank you for a quality product, Turtle Fur!

    Original Turtle Fur Hat

    I had my original Turtle Fur hat for more than 10 years and then left in in the back seat of an Uber ! I ordered my new Turtle Fur hat the same day and am pleased to say it's just as comfortable and warm as my first one. Looking forward to wearing it this winter !

    My favorite winter hat since the 1980's!!!

    I love it. I bought one at a hat vendor on the Boulder Pearl Street Mall back in the early 1980's, and wore it every cold, windy, snowy day until I lost it in a parking lot in about 2018. I live at 8200+ feet, so of course I needed to order another one immediately. Ordered 2 to have a spare to share with grand kids. Still have the 2nd one, but the grand kid one got lost (surprise). I only wish you still had some brighter colors for this style. Navy, black and charcoal get a little old. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you for making it!

    disappointing

    The hat was soft and warm. However, I am 5'2" have short hair, and the hat just about covered my ears. Also, the pressure from the hat band made my ears ache from having it on for a short while. So, I am very disappointed in the product.
