Turtle Fur Announces B Corp Certification

As of December 21st, 2022, we are excited to announce that we have officially become a Certified B Corporation™ (B Corp™), joining a community of leaders committed to doing business for good. To achieve B Corp certification, we underwent a lengthy review of our business practices and operations, measuring the effect those have on our people, our community, and the environment. The results are then scored, and we were required to meet a minimum score to achieve certification. Becoming B Corp certified means that a company is committed to using business as a force for positive change.

Our mission is to inspire an outdoor lifestyle by promoting socially and environmentally conscious living and creating comfortable products for every adventure(r). As a part of our B Corp certification, protecting people and planet are key to allowing us to fulfill our mission, and every day we strive to continually improve.

As a part of certification, we have been verified as meeting B Lab’s high standards for social and environmental impact. We have also made a legal commitment to stakeholder governance, and are demonstrating accountability and transparency by disclosing this record of performance in a public B Corp profile. We are proud to join over 6,000 B Corps in 89 countries, 42 of which are in our home state of Vermont.
