This overhood is made of two powerhouse fabrics that work to keep you warm and dry. Fitting over your helmet, it has optimal stretch and quick-drying capabilities, giving you the coverage you need to stay outside longer, and shred harder.

Between the Comfort Shell™ outer and Micro Fur™ Fleece liner, the Mount Hood provides warmth without weight, stretch for optimum comfort, and is both breathable and quick drying. Made to fit over a helmet, this overhood has double-layer face coverage and an internal cinch cord to provide added warmth and stability.

    This is "IT". The wait is over. I freeze my cheeks and face when walking winter trails. Put a Stop to that immediately. Help yourself get outdoors in winter. Use one of these!!

    Turtle Fur's Most Expensive Overhood

    Great materials. I see a potential design flaw in that this overhood cannot be cinched up sufficiently to protect all of the forehead. For brutal cold & wind, a stocking cap or balaclava would have to be worn underneath to fully protect this area. Maybe that's by intention, but it limits the utility of this piece of headgear as a stand alone item of kit.

    A necessity on cold days!

    I typically don't wear a hood while skiing, but when it's below zero I need something to keep me warm and the Overhood is perfect. It's big enough to fit over my ski helmet but also doesn't get in my way.
