I had a old turtle fur head band . It was lot wider and didn't make you sweat to death. Also the materials don't sit right so when you have it on one side the other side starts to roll over. And it is supposed to be reversible but there is a big white tag sticking out the other side. And pretty tight

This headband has made close to 20 trips up Mt Mainsfield with this year. I love that it is lightweight but still provides a ton of warmth.
