The high-performance MaxClava balaclava was designed with you in mind: A single-layer of our proprietary Comfort Shell™ material allows for full neck, ear and head coverage with partial face coverage and no moisture-trapping consequences. The fitted neck sits around the clavicle comfortably, with an extra scoop of fabric to tuck deep into the front of jackets and base layers. Breathable, sweat wicking and lightweight, the MaxClava is ideal for being worn under a helmet and goggles or simply underneath a warm hat while skiing or partaking in other cold weather activities. Found this on the side of the road, didn't touch it for a week. Nobody came to grab it and I happened to be in the market for a balaclava. Divine intervention I say!
Pros: Soft, flexible, great coverage, breathable, survives laying outside for an extended amount of time.
Cons: Smells like somebody else.

hat has no comparison. scarf has no comparison. collar and freezing ears, cheeks, face, neck, no fun.
All reasons I bought this. I can hike and walk in winter and enjoy it because of this item!

I bought this same balaclava for myself but my husband and he liked it so much he wanted one for himself so now we have two that are the same and we are both happy and super warm. Love your products. Have also bought many things for our two little granddaughters and they love them. When it is cold out, they say it's a "turtle fur day!"
